Deal Stages in Salesshaper
Salesshaper categorizes deal in stages with simple and clear terms that are easy for you to understand and to apply on your daily sales routine. Let’s take a look on an example that applies these deal stages with Salesshaper below.
A new deal first starts out with the Approaching stage, where you approach and get in touch with the prospect. When you have made your very first appointment with the prospect, the deal stage turns to Appointment Made. Once you have checked in the appointment, the stage becomes Visited. Following the sales cycle, you will then prepare and create quotation for your prospect, if they requested for one, and after you have sent out the quotation, you can conveniently change the deal stage to Quotation Sent.
In the closure stage, if the prospect decided to purchase your products, you get to update its stage to Done Deal; otherwise, if lost, it becomes a Lost Deal.
Note:
- A deal stage will be automatically changed to Appointment Made when the first appointment action is created for the deal.
- A deal stage automatically turns to Visited when there is a first check-in occurs to an appointment action.
- After sending a quotation to prospect/customer, you can edit the deal stage to Quotation Sent and key in the quotation number.
