About Actions

Salesshaper Action is a simple to-do list for your daily sales activities, from follow-up calls to issuance of invoice. It helps you to focus on upcoming actions and manage time efficiently, which in turn improve work efficiency. In Salesshaper, Actions are tied to Deals; you can create multiple actions for a deal throughout its sales cycle, and complete them along the way.

Types of Actions

There are several types of actions in Salesshaper:

  • Follow-up Actions are activities that you need to perform throughout the sales cycle, such as contacting customer to arrange an appointment, prepare quotation, email details, etc.
  • Appointments are events, meetings or arrangements to meet your customers, partners or potential clients at a particular time and venue. You can create an appointment when you are required to visit someone, and check in when you arrive at the particular location.
  • Invoice Actions are created automatically when you have closed a deal as a “Done Deal” without issuing invoice immediately. These actions act as reminders in your to-do list, so that you won’t miss any uninvoiced deals.

Action Statuses

There are several statuses for an Action.

  • Pending Actions are actions that are not completed yet. These actions are marked in different date labels.
  • Today’s Actions are actions that are due today. These actions are accompanied with a yellow label.
  • Urgent and Overdue Actions are urgent actions, or pending actions that are overdue. These actions are accompanied with a red label. If it is an urgent action, it is tagged as “ASAP”.
  • Completed Actions are actions that have been completed. You will find green ticks on completed actions, along with the completed date and time.
  • Cancelled Actions are cancelled appointments or cancelled invoice actions. They are labelled with red crosses, along with the cancellation date and time.
